CAVEMAN TRACK UPDATES

This week, the USOE and UHSAA both came out with a tentative timeline of schools and track season reopening on May 1st.  Athletes, please continue working out on your own, or in groups of 5 or less. The school track is closed to workouts during regular school hours. Coaches working with athletes is still prohibited.

That said, here are suggested workouts for Boys Distance runners:

Week of March 30th:
Mon: AM-30 min recovery run., PM- The Grinder, Mtn. Dew Hill if nice out.
Tues: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- Gate, Stride Laps
Wed: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- 1600m Time Trial, 4 mile cooldown
Thurs: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Austinator
Fri: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Jeff's Coccyx Power Run
Sat: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Bridal Veil Capillary

Week of April 6th:
Mon: AM-30 min recovery run., PM-The Grinder, Mtn. Dew Hill if nice out.
Tues: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- 16X200 , 1:10 rest, 2 mile cooldown
Wed: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- PG Cemetery
Thurs: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- 800m Time Trial, 4 mile cooldown
Fri: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Stop Sign, stride laps
Sat: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Provo River Trail Capillary

Week of April 13th:
Mon: AM-30 min recovery run., PM-The Grinder, Mtn. Dew Hill if nice out.
Tues: AM-30 min recovery run. PM-Jr. High 1600,1200,800,400 run there and back
Wed: AM-30 min recovery run. PM-Cedar Hills Elementary
Thurs: AM-30 min recovery run.PM-Hobby Lobby Loop Power Run
Fri: AM-30 min recovery run.PM-Mt. Mahogany Elementary, Stride Laps
Sat: AM-30 min recovery run.PM-Alpine City Capillary Run

Week of April 20th:
Mon: AM-30 min recovery run., PM-The Grinder, Mtn. Dew Hill if nice out.
Tues: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- 2X1 Mile @ Art Dye
Wed: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- Great Clayton's Ghost, Stride Laps
Thurs: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- 3200m Time Trial, 3 mile cooldown
Fri: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Gazebo Extended
Sat: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- C4 Capillary Run

Week of April 27th:
Mon: AM-30 min recovery run., PM- 8,8,6,6,4,4,2,2 (3:30,3:00,2:30,1:30 rest)
Tues: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- Elk Farm, Stride Laps
Wed: AM-30 min recovery run. PM- 2X800 hard (5:00 rest) + 4 miles
Thurs: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Jeff's Coccyx, pullouts
Fri: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- 1600m Time Trial, 4 mile cooldown
Sat: AM-30 min recovery run.PM- Lindon Boat Harbor Capillary Run

Every Morning-10-20-40,
PM MWF-Lift
PM TU,TH-Mega-Abs
Stretch after each run.
