Indoor Meet this Saturday

 We will be participating this Saturday at the Weber State High School Meet. We will need parents to help drive the athletes to the meet, since this is a club event. We will meet at AFHS at 7:30 AM to do a shakeout run and visualization before leaving at 8:00 AM. The meet begins at 9:00 AM.

Boys distance runners should all sign up for the 3200m race. Registration is on Sporttrax.

After the race and cooldown run, we will go to Farr's Ice Cream Shop. We should be back to American Fork btween 1 and 2 PM.

More Postseason Results

 Tonight, Kaden Evans and Carter Moore ran in the High Performance 5000m Run heats at the Portland Track Festival. Kaden placed 17th in 14:09.72 (AFHS #2 All-Time), while Carter Moore placed 32nd in 14:40.28 (AFHS #5 All-Time). Results

This week, several Cavemen will compete at New Balance Outdoor Nationals (NBNO) and Nike Outdoor Nationals(NON). We'll put all the results on this page.

On Thursday at NBNO in Philadelphia, the Boys team of  Dallin Harrington, Carter Moore, Kaden Evans, and Ryker Bement placed 3rd in the 4XMile Relay in  17:03.41 (AFHS #6 All-Time, US #12 All-Time).

On Friday at NBNO, Carter Moore placed 27th in the 2 Mile Run with a mark of 9:12.11.

On Saturday at NBNO, Ryker Bement, Kaden Evans, and Dallin Harrington placed 9th, 14th, and 78th, respectively, in the 1 Mile Run with marks of 4:07.42, 4:09.81, and 4:18.76.

On Saturday at NON in Eugene Oregon, Cael Flinders placed 38th in the 400m Dash with a time of 49.08.

On Sunday at NON, Kaden Fairbanks placed 47th in the 200m Dash with a time of 22.35.

Cael and Kaden then paired with two other Utahns in the Club Only 4X400m Relay and placed 4th in 3:15.23.

Postseason Results

 Thursday, June 5th

Ryker Bement placed 11th in the Elite Boys Mile in 4:06.44 at the Hoka Festival of Miles in St. Louis, Missouri.

Lily Collier finsihed her first day of competition in the Heptathlon at the Great Southwest Classic in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She palced 11th in the 100m Hurdles in 16:80, the placed 2nd in the High Jump at 4-11.72, then placed 10th in the Shot Put at 25-00, then finished 13th in the 200m Dash in 27.90. She is currently in 11th place with 2277 points.

Friday, June 6th

Lily Collier finished up her Heptathlon at the Great Southwest Classic in 11th place with 3881 points. She placed 5th in the long jump with 17-2.75, 14th place in the Javelin with 62-01, and then finished with a 6th place finish in the 800m Run at 2:28.89.

Summer Practice

 The Boys Team begins Summer Practice tomorrow, Wednesday May 28th at 7:00 AM at AFHS. We will meet at the stadium's Southwest bleachers.

We will need parent sto help drive the Boys Team to Willow Park in Lehi to run the Jordan River Trail this Friday.

The Girls Team will begin practice next Monday at 7:00 AM.

Utah State 6A State Championship Day 2 Results

 The Cavemen competed Saturday at the final day of the 2025 Utah State 6A Track and Field Championship. Complete Results

The Girls Team placed first for the second year in a row. They scored 101.5 points, with Lone Peak in second with 78 points.

The Boys Team won their first ever Track and Field State Championship with 132.5 points. Corner Canyon was second with 117.5 points.
