UCCTCA Indoor Invitational Information

 This Friday and Saturday Caveman athletes can participate in the UCCTCA Indoor Invite held at the Kearns Olympic Ice Oval. Registration Information . Please make sure to include American Fork when you register unattached. Remember to sign the Ice Oval waiver (required for entry into the meet).

Weber State Indoor Meet

 We are planning on competing this Saturday at the Weber State Indoor Meet in Ogden. Online Registration is due Wednesday. Registration Link and Schedule

We will need parents to carpool and drive the athletes to Weber State University. We would like to leave AFHS by 8:30 AM (Sprinters in the 55m should leave by 7:15). Coach Mostert will be teaching in Ohio, and will not make the meet.

Grinder #1

 The Boys team ran their first Grinder of 2025 today. Congratulations to Trey Nielsen who earned a pair of spikes by running 7:59.

SteelDays 5k

 The American Fork Steel Days 5k is coming up on Saturday, July 20th. It will begin and end by the Fire Station on 100 N. and Center Streets.

American Fork Cross-country athletes can register and receive a discount on the entry fee by using the code: AF25  go to runtasticevents.com to register.

Also, Registermyathlete must be completed by next Friday in order to go to camp. We will also need the camp fee and permission form turned in before Friday, July 13th. Make a check out for $50 to CAVEMAN TRACK CLUB.

Moratorium

 The UHSAA has a weeklng Moratorium from June 28th through July 4th. Coaches will not be around to meet with the athletes. We will meet again on Friday, July 5th.

 Last  night, alumnus Casey Clinger placed 5th in the 10,000m Run at the US Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon with a time of 27:59.71.  Results

Wednesday:

Kaden Evans placed 5th in the 5000m Run at the US U20 Championships in a time of 14:25.88. Results

Noah Nielson placed 9th in the 800m Run at the Brooks PR Invitational in 1:53.90. Results

Carter Moore placed 19th and Maxwell Orr placed 24th in the 5000m Run at Nike Outdoor Nationals with times of 15:02.40 and 15:07.24, respectively. Results

Thursday:

The Boys 4Xmile Relay Team won at Nike Outdoor Nationals with a meet record 17:14.20. Results

Friday:

Noah  Nielson and Ryker Bement placed 16th and 53rd in the 800m Run at Nike Outdoor Nationals with times of 1:52.34 and 1:57.02, respectively. Results

The Boys 4X800m Relay placed 2nd at Nike Outdoor Nationals with a time of 7:44.35. Results

Saturday:

Daniel Simmons won the 2 mile Run in a meet record 8:38.49 at New Balance Nationals. Results

He came back this afternoon to place 11th in the Mile in 4:07.52. Results

Austin Plewe placed 34th, Ben Bradshae placed 51st, and Ben Jaster placed 54th in the Mile at Nike Outdoor Nationals with times of 4:16.16, 4:20.21, and 4:21.15, respectively. Results
